"Kindergarten shots" are now being given at the 4-year check-up as many preschools are now requiring them.
One dose of meningococcal vaccine and one dose of Tdap are required for all children 11-18 years of age who are changing school districts or who are enrolled in 6th grade.
Your child may be eligible for free vaccines IF your insurance does not cover vaccinations. To be eligible, you must check with your insurance company prior to your visit.
Flu vaccine is here! The nasal mist flu vaccine is here and can be given immediately to protect your child for the 2017/2018 flu season. Any child, 2 years of age or older, without any chronic health problems, can receive the vaccine. Please call the office to make an appointment. The flu shot, which can be given at 6 months or above, is also available and can be given now. Please call now for your shot appointment and avoid the rush later in the season!
The Human Papillomavirus vaccine (HPV) is now recommended for both boys and girls, 11 years of age or older. HPV is the most common sexually transmitted virus in the United States. It can cause genital and oral cancers in both males and females.
